The Food!

So these are pictures of the table setting and all the great food we had that night. My sweet husband knows I LOVE Chocolate covered strawberries so he got me extra so I could share them with everyone and not have it cause me too much pain. And my mother gave all of us girls a set of china but Tish's is really the most beautiful. I thought it made the table just breathtaking and fancy! I have moments in my life where I feel like a grown up and eating at such a pretty "big people's" table really made me feel my age. And the food was simple but SOOOO good. I made orange roughy and the secret I think was to buy it fresh. I simply seared it in the pan with butter and olive oil and a bit of salt and then I put it over some wild rice and drizzled some of the whiskey glaze over it from the carrots that Tish brought. Best carrots EVER!
