Happy Birthday Charlie!

So on his actual birthday we went to Mickey D's and he ate his first and very own ice cream cone. He was pretty happy about that.
These are the darling cupcakes I just had to make for the cowboy themed party we had. I tell myself every birthday that I'm going to just do a cake but I always get suckered into doing cupcakes because they are so stikin' cute! These were in a cupcake book I borrowed from Jess called "Hello Cupcake". It's going to be my next treat to myself. Anyway, they were really fun to do.

I had a really cute picture of Charlie on a horse so I went to Kinko's and had them blow it up for like a buck. And I was really bummed because I wanted red balloons, I think it really would have made it, but I guess being so close to Valentines Day everyone was out!

This is Charlie about to blow out the candles! He loves blowing out candles, what kids doesn't right? We did pie tins for plates and mason jars for glasses. And the little girl, Kiki, is sporting one of the little plastic cowboy hats that all the kids wore. I wish I was better about getting all the kids together for a picture!

I just really loved this one of Ella, she just took a huge bite of the horse's head and she looks really proud of herself. All and all it was a really fun party. We have really great family and friends that really spoil and love us! I can't believe my baby is TWO! He is just getting so big, we are so lucky to have him in our family. He is all boy and likes to kick and get dirty but underneath it all he is the sweetest boy I've ever known! I love you Charlie Bear!
