Lost Love

So I've just had my heart broken in... I don't know how long... maybe high school? Maybe I've never had a broken heart now that I think about it, I did marry the man of my dreams. I'm getting a little off the subject and I've decided that you need a little bit of background about me before I continue the story. I love art. I think it is the most important aspect when decorating a room. Not furniture, not lighting, not paint color, but the art work. I can appreciate all art, however I only shop for the limited genres that I like. I don't like to spend money and I'm really, really picky about the art I would buy. Hence the reason I've yet to purchase an original piece of art. But the other day I wandered from my usual websites of art and came across this wonderful piece. It is titled Autumn Bouquet and it was love at first site. I love the colors and foliage, dandelions, and berries... it just sang to me a sweet melody of autumn and times as a child spending endless hours climbing trees and picking berries. I've rarely had a piece of art speak to me like this one. The broken heart came while I was planning our future together... $1,600. That's all that was said. I was left sweeping up my heart that had shattered into a million pieces, only left with the dreams of what might have been. So until you become a reprint or I win the lottery, thank you Autumn Bouquet, it was better to have loved and lost then to have never loved at all.

Beauty must definitely be in the eye of the beholder because I think this is pretty u-g-l-y. No offense intended to your might-have-been lover! ;)

That is too sad! I am so sorry for you. I will paint you a picture of some flowers...maybe it'll speak to you as well! Probably not since although I am creative...I am not a painter! But I love ya anyway!
