It's Official

So this was Charlie's first hair cut... he's actually had one other one since this picture but for Rob it was a big moment and needed to be documented. Ever since Charlie was born Rob had been looking forward to this day. I think he just loves the idea of having a clean cut, blond haired boy. But for me it was the day I was dreading. It officially meant my baby was growing up. I was really surprised at how hard it was for me. I couldn't help but be excited because Rob was so giddy but deep down I wanted to cry. Weird how sometimes the little things get ya. Anyway, the great thing about this story is the ending. After we got Charlie to stop laughing at the clippers and hold still long enough for Rob to get it just right, I got him all cleaned up, slapped some gel in his hair and, even though he looked older, he was so completely handsome. He took my breath away at how gorgeous he looked. So yes it's not only official that Charlie is growing up.... but that he is most defiantly a looker!
