TAG!!!

Ok so I've really had a fun time reading about my friend's husbands so I thought I'd tell our story...

1. NAME- Robert Steven Crum

2. HOMETOWN- Good ol' Moore, Oklahoma

3. AGE- He'll be 33 this year

4. OCCUPATION- He just got a new job with GE doing computer stuff... I don't know his real job title, is that bad?

5. HOW WE MET- I actually love this story but won't go into too much detail. On my first summer home from collage I started work at my old high school job weighting tables at Charleston's. It's a nice restaurant next to OU. Anyway Rob was a server too and I remember him being really handsome (yes tall and skinny is my type) but I also remember him being too old. Five years is a big deal when you are 18. Anyway, it didn't stop me from flirting a bit. But the thing that really got me was when I would wink or smile or walk around the corner he would get all nervous and drop drinks and plates... it was like what you would see in a movie!

6. OUR FIRST DATE- I love this story too. Rob the procrastinator that he is, put off asking me out until my last day of work. I remember being really really bumbed because he asked me out for the weekend and I was actually going in for nose surgery and then after that was heading back for school but luckily he seemed more than pleased to take me out that night. So we went down to brick town for dinner, then we climbed a parking garage and watched the sunset and talked about crazy fun things like "if you worked for Crayola, what would you name the color of the sunset". Then he brought me home and we went out in the back yard where we looked at stars and made up consolations since we didn't know their real names (one looked like a stingray so if I were to ever get a tattoo it would be of a stingray) anyway it was a great date, I think it lasted like 7 hours! We just had so much to talk about it felt like we'd known each other for years. Oh, cute side story. Two days later I had my surgery and Rob sent me flowers, in the middle was a huge Gerber daisy the same color at our sunset... he was very romantic back in the day =)

7. WHO KISSED WHO FIRST- Actually I kissed him, it was on our first date, the first date that really was more like three dates cause it lasted so long. I really wanted him to kiss me, like all night, but he was playing the gentlemen card so I just kissed him... it's actually one of his favorite memories.

8. WHO SAID "I LOVE YOU" FIRST- I actually don't remember. I'm sure it was Rob because I remember not wanting to scare him off. We had a long distance relationship that was mostly all about fun so even though we both felt it for a long time, we didn't say it.

9. OUR ENGAGEMENT- Rob took me to a really nice restaurant in Oklahoma City, it was called The eagle's nest and it's this really tall building that revolves so you get a 360 view of the city while you eat. I kinda had a feeling that he was going to ask me and right in the middle of dinner I felt something hit me foot. Immediately I knew he had dropped the ring. I was nervous he wouldn't find it cause the floor was moving but I didn't want him to know that I knew so I excused myself so he could look for the ring and when I came back from the restroom the ring was under my napkin in the box. It actually turned out to be a surprise cause I thought he'd have it in his hand. He simply asked if I would be his wife... I guess he had a whole list of things to say but in the end, just wanted to know what the answer would be.

10. HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN MARRIED- It will be five years this August.

11. WHO IS HIS BEST FRIEND- I don't know, most of his friends are out of state, but he spends most of his time with Brian MacEvoy.

12. WHO'S A BETTER SINGER- I am by far.

13. WHO IS TALLER- Rob is, he's over six feet and I'm five three.

14. WHO IS SMARTER- Rob is by far. Even street smarts. He is just one of those people who remember everything they read and just know everything. I love it!

15. WHO EATS MORE SWEETS- Me! I love chocolate, but I will say even though I eat them more on a daily bases, Rob can sit down with sugar rocks or a whole box of Oreos and just down the whole thing. That I could never do.

16. WHO HAS MORE SIBLINGS- I do, I have two brother and two sisters and Rob only had one sister. He really did needed a brother to beat up on... sorry Angela!

17. WHO DOES THE DISHES, LAUNDRY, MAKES DINNER, AND PAYS THE BILLS- Me, Me, Me, and Me. Actually that's not entirely true. When my mom comes she does my laundry because I hate it so much!

18. WHO MOWS THE LAWN- Rob, he's really good about making the outside of the home look great.

19. WHO SLEEPS ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE BED- Rob does at the moment but we switch it up every now and then.

20. WHO WEARS THE PANTS- I'd have to say Rob does but I usually get my way. He lets me have what I want but if it's really important to him and he has to put his foot down I relent.

21. MY FAVORITE THING ABOUT ROB- Ummm.... at the moment my favorite thing is he's an AMAZING Dad. From saying prayers with Ella and wrestling with Charlie to working like crazy at his job to give them a home. He's great!
