Happy Halloween!

We really had a great time for Halloween this year! The kiddos are getting a bit older so it was really fun to watch them trick or treat. Even my little Charlie was brave enough to go up to strangers and talk to them, actually he just ran up and held his bag out but still he did it all by himself! And Ella and Charlie painted their very first pumpkins and they did so good. We went to the zoo for a trick or treat night with all their cousins and friends and saw all sorts of fun decorations. And we had a little carnival at our church with a cake walk and all sorts of games, that one was a bit hard cause Rob was gone and I thought I could handle the two kids by myself, we managed but I was tired from trying to run down two kids hyped up on sugar. But the highlight was and always is Halloween night when we go to my Aunt Becky's house to eat and trick or treat. It's no secret that Halloween is a big deal in our family and it all roots from my Aunt Becky. Her house is decorated from top to bottom and it's just so spooky and magical. I hope she knows how much I love it that my kids get to have the same influence and memories that I did! Oh, and the little picture at the top was a project I did from last year, I think I got the idea from Martha Stwart, but you take old books and fold every page in half, (yes it takes a while) but then you slap on a few cut out eyes and mouths and you have some really cute and different pumpkins!
