So Charlie is ready to move out of his crib and it's time for a big boy bed. Since my mom and dad stay with us when they work at the temple Charlie is going to get a full size bed. I know that this bed holds more kids that I even have but I really love the idea of the loft style bunk beds, then you can put toys, dressers, desk on the bottom and it opens up just so much space. I just thought this would be great in case someday I have three kids that are all the same sex. I don't know if that will happen since Rob thinks he's done with the two we have! I just really liked the full size bed on the bottom too. Also I've heard bunk beds are a nightmare to make.

What do you think?

I LOVE it, I think it's perfect, and YES, I'm sure bunkbeds are a pain to make, but let's be honest, my kids don't make their beds anyway, and half the time I don't get around to it either......;0
As for the visit in the spring, I'd LOVE to have you and the kiddo's it would be a BLAST, so you are more than welcome anytime.....keep me posted. :)

I am all about getting the most out of any space and having several purposes for every piece of furniture so I really like this idea - even if you guys are done at two kids. Did you already buy it? Is it from Pottery Barn? Because I think it is awesome!
