Joys of Motherhood?

So usually when my children do something that most mother's would pull their hair out for, or beat their children till their blue, I usually try to smile and take it all in with a good attitude because I know some day I'll look back on these days that go by way to fast, and wish I could have them back. Today was not one of those days. With three hours of Church with just me and the kids, I was so looking forward to naps. We all got settled in and about 45 minutes into nap time Charlie comes out of his room and climbs into my bed. I was hoping he would lay his head down and go to sleep. He just played quietly at the foot of my bed. Quiet and Charlie don't usually go together so I glanced up at him from my pillow to discover that my little boy had taken off his very own diaper by himself, (it is a first) and had pooped all in my bed!!!!!!!!!! It was EVERYWHERE! Pillows, foot board, floor, sheets.... The kid is lucky he still has a heart beat.

Ahhh! Lauren did that a few weeks ago! She was in her bedroom-during nap time-and when I went to her room, she had stuck her whole hand into her poopy diaper and started "painting" with it!

Eww! Yuck! So sorry! My middle child has taken off a poopy diaper and smeared it all over a bed too, but it wasn't MY bed. Ugh!

Oh man, why do they do things like that???? I swear I need a daily dose of my "patience" pill to keep mine in check most days!!! :) Good thing they are CUTE, right???

We're glad Charlie lived to tell about it! Winn did that the fall the we moved out there. It took HOURS to clean up! I feel your pain!

You have always been that way, just roll with the punches. Thanks for the good reminder!

AHAHAHAH. I hadn't read you blog before but if your kids keep it up I'll have to make it a regular visit.
