Ok so this is my new bike! After trying out a few stores and a few bikes this is the one I took home. I am one of the most indecisive people I know. My sweet husband was really patient while I was deciding between a Giant and a Trek but in the end I had to go with the Trek. It was hands down the more comfortable bike for me. I went into this process telling myself I wouldn't get a bike based on looks or colors (which is hard for a girl) but it just so happened that my favorite looking bike was also the one I ended up buying. I just really like all the white on it and I think that it will be easy to find cute clothes to match the blue. Yes it is mostly about the bike ride but since I shouldn't reward myself with hot fudge sundaes, I figure bike clothes would be ok. Anyway I'm really excited about it. So now that I have a bike it's for real that I'm going to do the bike ride in October! There is a lot more that I want to share about the ride but I'll save that for another post. I do have one not so funny story to share about my bike. This evening Rob and I loaded the kiddos up in the bike trailer and took my new bike out for a spin. While I was inside getting the kids ready Rob decided to take my new pride and joy for a spin and the stinkin' pig ended up dropping it!!!!!!!! Can you believe it! Luckily there was no real damage done to my bike, only a little scratch on the seat. Any other time I'd probably really like something like that. Scars and scratches are a sign of adventure and toughness to me but my bike is just so new and pretty! He felt really bad so I couldn't be too upset, plus tomorrow we are getting him a bike so he'll have no more reason to mess with mine.

This is so much fun. The matching outfits are important accessories! I cannot wait to hear about all your adventures.
I am not going to lie...the beach cruiser with the wide seat is probably more my style these days. :)
Amy, you are so funny! Do I see matching biker outfits for you and Rob in the near future? Kolby's mom is really into biking and she has a catalog with the cutest biking shirts and shorts. My favorite is pink with blo-pop suckers all over it! I'll ask Julie what the company is for you if you like! Well, get to biking and on to the races!
You will love your bike! I am so exited that you Bike and Run, just start swimming and do a triathalon. By the way, your kids are sooo cute!
YEAH!!!! I can't wait to hear all about the biking adventures, and P is PROUD. Keep up the good work.
